CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — August 27, 2024 — Mavendog is excited to announce the addition of Elizabeth “Liz” Gist as a Mavendog Affiliate and Principal Consultant within our Program Leadership practice.

Liz is passionate about motivating and mentoring teams to deliver high-quality programs and projects. She has a proven track record delivering complex projects and programs across multiple areas, including Operations, Product Development, Manufacturing, Software Development, IT, and Digital Transformation. Additionally, she is known for establishing and leading global Project Management Offices (PMOs) that deliver results and solve business problems.

Moreover, Liz brings strong leadership and decision-making skills. She consistently drives financial success and delivers positive outcomes across various business functions. Over the years, she has led projects in Energy, Finance, and Manufacturing, with a particular focus on Vendor Relations, ePMO, and Product Development.

For instance, one of her recent successes involved transitioning an IT PMO into an ePMO with a $1 billion portfolio. As a result, she achieved a 25% boost in productivity through improved processes, governance, and resource management.

Prior to Mavendog, Gist worked with:

  • Johnson Controls/JCI, where as PMO Director and eventually a VP of Portfolio and Program Management;
  • Bank of America, as a VP and Senior Technical Project Manager;
  • Weisiger Group, as the Director of their Enterprise Program Management Office; and
  • Euclid Power, a startup renewable energy company, where she served on the Executive Leadership team and Director of their PMO.

Prior to her corporate and consulting career, Liz served 12 years in the United States Air Force in various roles and leadership positions.

Liz holds a Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University, and a Master of Science in Organizational Management from American Military University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP); SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM); Certified Scrum Professional (CSM); and Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner. Additionally, she holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt for continuous improvement.
