Backdrop
Mavendog led the modernization of IT infrastructure and the technology stack (including storage, networking, backup and recovery systems, end-user computing, and telephony) for a multi-billion-dollar manufacturer of advanced pool and spa equipment. The effort was strategically timed to coincide with the company’s headquarters relocation and the launch of new distribution centers.
Project Work
- Infrastructure Project Portfolio Management (PPM): Developed and managed a new intake process for prioritizing infrastructure projects.
- Global Telephony Program: Led global telephony program of seven existing and two greenfield site developments. Replaced two on-prem, multi-carrier, PBX analog phone systems with a standardized, cloud-based VoIP system and single vendor/carrier.
- Global IPsec Redundancy: Led implementation of dynamic failover access to core systems located at the corporate data center for eight North American sites and one European site.
- Discovery and Business Continuity Documentation: Infrastructure modernization with updates to business continuity plans and documentation.
