CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — April 11, 2025 — Mavendog is pleased to announce the addition of Trey Burns as a Mavendog Affiliate and Principal Consultant within our Program Leadership practice.

Trey is a senior initiative leader with a nearly 30-year track record of delivering tangible value in complex business and technology transformations, process and operations optimization, risk management, and large-scale program execution. His expertise, initially honed as a software engineer, spans multiple industry verticals, making him equally comfortable supporting business, technology, and operations organizations.

Trey’s extensive background covers a wide array of critical areas, including Strategic Planning & Execution, Technology Delivery Management, and Change Management. His expertise also extends to M&A/Divestitures, Risk & Compliance, Operations Management, and Vendor Selection & Management.

Notably, Trey served as Program Lead for a multi-year bank merger, overseeing programs for Payments, Consumer Strategy, and Consumer Data & Analytics. He also led initiatives to improve customer risk processes and technologies, and served as Portfolio and Program Lead for loss prevention initiatives yielding $97MM in net credit loss reductions.

  • Procom – Independent Contractor (2017-2018), where he was the U.S. Credit Cards Platform Data Product Owner for a North American Bank.

Trey holds a Master of Arts from the University of Texas, Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts from New College, Sarasota, FL.
