CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — October 25, 2019. Monday, October 21st marked the fourth and final of PMI Metrolina’s 2019 Networking series (formerly known as the Skills Fest). On a quarterly basis, PMI Metrolina holds formal networking meetings that are attended by hundreds of project managers. Mavendog has been a sponsor since 2017.
Based on a recent PMI survey, 81% of project professionals join their local chapter for networking opportunities. These quarterly meetings offer such an opportunity in spades. They foster connections within the local project management community; offer recruiting forums through sponsoring companies; and provide exceptional educational value for those testing their project management skills and profile on the open market. Such topics include social media tips-and-tricks, personal branding, résumé writing, and even interviewing techniques.

The events will restart in 1st Quarter 2020, and are typically held on Mondays at 5:30pm. This past year, they have been held at NOAH’S Event Venue (2421 Yorkmont Road, Charlotte, NC 28217).
