CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — November 15, 2023 — Mavendog bids farewell to Patriots Path this month.
For many years, Mavendog has sponsored this fantastic organization, led by Noël McCall. It is a non-profit organization that helps Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment opportunities post-service. In providing career guidance and opportunities for these individuals, Patriots Path is able to connect them with the larger community for continued networking and support. Patriots Path is closing its doors on November 30th.
“So it is with mixed emotions that I, too, begin a journey on a different path, retiring from the organization I founded so many years ago, in preparation for a new adventure. As Patriots Path comes to a close, I am grateful for the support of our Board of Directors, volunteers, and donors as we work together to wind down operations by November 15, 2023.” — Noël McCall
Mavendog will miss the partnership with Noël and Patriots Path, and all their fabulous events, particularly the Military-Corporate Speed Networking, Virtual Mock-Interviews.
As a farewell, Jon Vordermark noted:
“We have been avid supporters of Patriots Path and Noël’s mission for years. Military support (particularly military-to-civilian transition) is our #1 civic cause. We have worked with Patriots Path directly for Speed Networking events, Mock Interview programs, and numerous offline meet & greets with transitioning service members seeking opportunities or counsel. Although Noël is winding down operations in November, Mavendog will continue to do its part to carry on the Patriots Path mission. We will continue to advocate for military candidates to our clients; provide a bridge to project consulting and the American independent economy; and guide them on their own career journeys. ” — Jon Vordermark
