CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — May 5, 2024 — Mavendog is pleased to welcome Rachael Gabbard as a Senior Consultant and Affiliate within our Project & Change Delivery (PCD) practice.

Rachael is an experienced operations leader with 17 years of professional experience spanning logistics, project management, and human resources leadership. She brings deep, hands-on expertise supporting complex, operationally critical programs where execution, discipline, and accountability matter.

Rachael strengthens Mavendog’s ability to support HR-related initiatives while also expanding our capabilities across supply chain, distribution, and operations. Her work focuses on optimizing material flows, reducing disruption, and improving responsiveness to both internal and external customer demands. In short, she helps organizations make their operations work better, faster, and more reliably.

Over the past decade, Rachael has held senior roles at Fortune 50 companies including Amazon and Humana. Most recently, she served as a Senior Operations Manager with Amazon Air, where she led a high-tempo, complex aviation operation. In that role, she oversaw a major operations facility and 13 multi-million-dollar aircraft, while driving projects tied to safety, quality, productivity, and delivery accuracy.

In addition to her corporate leadership experience, Rachael is a veteran of the United States Army and currently serves as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Reserve. As a Field Hospital Commander, she is responsible for organizational vision, leadership climate, and training readiness. Over 18 years of service, she has held roles including Medical Operations Officer, Human Resources Officer, Logistics Officer, and Company Commander. That breadth of experience shows up clearly in how she leads teams and executes under pressure.

Rachael holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Xavier University and is a proud Ohio native. She lives in Ohio with her husband and son.
