CHARLOTTE, N.C. – August 14, 2024 – Football season is here! 2024 marks Mavendog’s second season as a Small Business Partner of the Carolina Panthers. The regular season opens on Sunday, September 8 at 1 PM EDT against the New Orleans Saints at the Caesars Superdome.
To get in the spirit of the new season, Mavendog had the privilege of attending a VIP event hosted by the Carolina Panthers and Eleven Sports Media. Mavendog enjoyed a memorable day of networking, celebration, and meeting current players. The event also featured guest speakers from the Panthers Legends Community, including Tre Boston, Mike Tolbert, and Brenton Bersin, who shared their personal journeys as entrepreneurs and acclimating to life after the NFL.
For Mavendog, the Carolina Panthers Small Business Partner (SBP) program aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting and representing small businesses across the Carolinas. Mavendog understands the challenges faced by startups, small enterprises, entrepreneurs and solopreneurs. The main challenge can simply be standing out from large, lumbering competitors. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Panthers, “Keep Pounding” is the Panthers motto. Also… admittedly…, Mavendog Marketing had to look up the definition of a “homer”. It is defined as a sports fan “who is biased in favor of the home team.” Mavendog is not asking you to be as big a Panthers ‘homer’ as its President, but becoming a ‘Mavendog homer’ is always encouraged.
